Call for Entry!

Instax photos by Sarah Strong for the Gray Matter Series Mother Trees Project

Well, I am SO excited to share this first ever call for entry for a collective art exhibit at The Arthouse Gallery! Our upcoming show is titled “Oh, Snap! A Celebration of Instant Photography” and we want YOU to get involved. Perhaps you have some vintage polaroids that you would love to share from old family vacations, or you’ve been taking moody pics on your instax that need to see the light of day. We love a good capture of a fleeting moment and there is just something magical about these analog-yet-instant cameras.

Here are the dates:

Submissions due: March 8th

Acceptance emails sent: March 15th

Work due to the Arthouse: April 12th

Exhibition dates: May 12th through June 30th

Public viewing + reception: May 13 + 14, and by appointment the remainder of the dates.

The exhibit will also be featured online for at least the remainder of 2023.

The Arthouse is the studio and workspace of Ms. Anna Lee, which includes an apiary and the seasonal pop-up gallery for collaborative projects and events.

Here is a video of the Gallery space at the Arthouse before we installed the Mother Trees exhibit last autumn. It is a raw, seasonal space that is about 1000sqft. We are excited about what we can fill the space with moving forward.

Please feel free to get in touch with me if you have any questions at all, and share this opportunity with anyone you think might enjoy being involved!

xoxoMs.AnnaLee
