Six months later, an online gallery of The SNARL

Something I love about the cycles of the moon throughout the season is the rhythm it creates, with echoes into the past and the future.

Each new moon in a certain sign gives way to the full moon in the same sign six months later. Seeds we plant in one season take time to grow and bloom in another season.

So mid April 2026, when the New Moon in Aries hit, I was in the midst of the opening of The SNARL with Erin Holscher Almazan at the Rourke Art Gallery and Museum.

This past weekend, we had a fiery Full Moon in Aries. It seemed like a great time to post the gallery of my work in the show and reflect on how much has come through my heart since these seeds have been planted- namely the reinvigoration of my Creative Guidance work and the MotherTrees Collective.

The core of my work has long been informed by investment in the creative process and the transformative nature of the disintegration and subsequent reintegration of the artistic self through the heroine’s journey. 

Through my years as both a mediumistic painter and beekeeper, I have also found a rhythm and spirituality in the cycles of nature and the wisdom of the bees. 

We are forever in collaboration with each other and with nature itself. The rose needs the bee, the bee needs the rose. The bee needs her sisters of the hive. The hive is enlivened by each and every bee, dancing her heart in rhythm with each other. 

The inhale and exhale of the seasons and the moon cycles give life to our creative endeavors far beyond “manifesting” things. We manifest new ideas and potentials for the future.
